Adopting a Pet
Without adopters willing to give our pups loving, forever homes, we would be at a standstill.
We strive to do everything humanly possible to make sure that these animals that have endured so much do not end up in a less than desirable situation again.
Our adoption application is meant to give us a glimpse into your life, your routine, your family and your other pet responsibilities, as well as your pet preferences, to make the best match we can between you and your new pack member. If you have a current or past pet, a vet reference is required and we also require 3 personal references.

Application is reviewed for completeness and assigned to an adoption coordinator
Adoption coordinator verifies critical information on the application, contacts references and ensures that the requested animal is a good fit for the family
Adoption coordinator, in conjunction with rescue management, approves or denies application
Upon notification of approval, an adoption coordinator works with foster and adopter to set up an adoption appointment to bring your new family member home!
We strive to work through adoption applications as soon as we can. We are 100% volunteer-based so it can take a day or two to complete the review. This also depends on the response time of your references. Should you change your mind or adopt a different animal after submission, please inform us so we do not spend unnecessary time on your application.
